| A mosaic piece inspired by Wuthering Heights |
Wuthering Heights is a novel written by Emily Bronte. This novel is loaded with lots of imagery which creates many opportunities to create visual artworks.
Wuthering Heights
This mosaic to the left appropriately represents Wuthering Heights because the novel itself is pieced together or told by different narrators. Also the use of pitch black and dark shades of colour is in line with the dark, moody and grotesque atmosphere at Wuthering Heights Manor which is home to the two main characters Heathcliff and Catharine.
Thrushcross Grange
Thrushcross Grange pictured to the right, is the home of the Lintons in the nove has a calmer , warmer atmosphere and a greener environment. This is seen in the choice of colours.
